GRADUATION CEREMONY INFORMATION

STUDENTS’ must arrive at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium by 1:30 pm for the student rehearsal.

GUESTS need to arrive at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium no later than 5:30 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm. NO entrance will be permitted after 5:55 pm.

The Pasadena Civic Auditorium – 300 E Green St. Pasadena, CA 91101
PARKING – The subterranean parking structure is shared with the Sheraton Pasadena and the Pasadena Convention Center. There are two entrances, (a) on Marengo Avenue, and (b) Euclid Avenue, both between Green Street and Cordova Street. *Map on back of page
Cost: $12 a day for up to 16 hours; $18 a day for in-and-out privileges (subject to change).
WHAT TO BRING:
STUDENTS’ need to bring their ready-to-wear cap, gown, and tassel with them to the rehearsal. You will need to steam the creases/wrinkles out of your gown before arriving for rehearsal. Please arrive to rehearsal ready for the ceremony; hair, makeup, and clothing finished.
*All personal items (purses, bags, cell phones, jackets, etc.) will be checked in when you arrive. You will not be able to access these items once you line up for the ceremony.
GUESTS must present their ticket at the door. You are welcome to bring flowers and lei’s to give to students after the ceremony. You will not have access to see students once they check in for rehearsal.
WHAT NOT TO BRING:
No outside food or drinks. Noisemakers, balloons, or items that are thrown will be confiscated. No animals are permitted with the exception of service animals as defined in the Service Animal as a Disability Accommodation Policy. Students’ please do not bring any valuables with you. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Dinner will be provided for all students. Please let your student advisor or teacher know of any special dietary requirements in advance.
- The number of guest tickets allotted to each student is TBD, based on the total number of graduates.
- Once students check in at rehearsal they are not permitted to leave until after the graduation ceremony. Please be sure you have everything you need before checking in for rehearsal.
